Liderado por Åsa Netterbrant en las voces, Zephyra proporciona un sonido único en el género del Metal melódico.
Las influencias son tomadas del Thrash, el Power y el Death Metal melódico. Desde el inicio oficial en 2011, la banda ha lanzado un par de EPs, haciendo presentaciones alrededor de Suecia, ha ofrecido conciertos en vivo para la radio, y con frecuencia ha transmitido en programas de radio estadounidenses y británicos.
Después de firmar un contrato discográfico en 2014, el álbum debut; 'Mental Absolution' fue lanzado bajo el sello Wormholedeath en Diciembre del mismo año, y el primer video oficial del álbum salió el mes siguiente. En Marzo, el álbum fue lanzado en Japón, y un nuevo video oficial llegó con el lanzamiento.
Desde la primavera de 2015, la banda se ha enfocado en la preproducción, las grabaciones y la planificación de el siguiente álbum; ‘As The World Collapses’. El álbum fue producido y grabado durante el último trimestre del año, y será lanzado en el otoño de 2016. Algunos shows en vivo y festivales hicieron que 2015 fuese año muy ocupado.
2016 tiene mucho entre manos, el lanzamiento del álbum, y todo lo que viene con èl es sin duda la parte más importante en estos momentos!
Zephyra trae una actitud profesional, con mucha energia en el escenario, y con el compromiso de ofrecer un espectáculo al 200%. Cuando se trata de llevar a los fans un gran espectáculo, sólo hay una manera de hacerlo: dar lo máximo!

Fronted by Åsa Netterbrant and her growls and vocals, Zephyra provides a quite unique sound in the melodic metal genre.
The influences are taken from thrash, power and melodic death metal Since the official start back in 2011, the band has released a couple of EP:s, played shows around Sweden, done live shows on the radio, and frequently been aired in american and british radio shows.
After signing a record deal in 2014, the debut album; ‘Mental Absolution’ was released on Wormholedeath label in December, and the first official video from the album came out the month after. In March, the album was released in Japan, and a new official video came along with the release.
Since the spring of 2015, all focus have been on the pre production, recordings and planning of the upcoming, second album; ‘As The World Collapses’. The album was produced and recorded during the last quarter of the year, and will be released on the fall of 2016. Some live shows and festivals was added to the schedule, and that made 2015 a very busy year.
2016 has a lot in it´s hands right now, and the album release with all that comes with it is definitely the biggest part right now! Zephyra brings a professional, energetic attitude on stage, and always deliver a 200% show. When it comes to bringing the fans a great show, there´s just one way to do it: To the max!
